Homemade Ginger Ale

I found this recipe in a magazine and tried it and loved it and it is sooo easy so I wanted to share it with all my readers. I hope you enjoy it.

2 cups water
2 cups sugar
2 cups fresh ginger peeled and sliced like coins

Put all three ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil stirring so that the sugar melts. Reduce heat and boil for 8 minutes and then set aside to cool. When cooled pour through a strainer and you have ginger syrup (it will keep in the frig for two weeks)

Put ice in a glass and pour 1/4 cup ginger syrup in over ice and then add club soda to fill glass ( I use a rather large glass and it is plenty sweet to me so you will have to suit your own taste)
and I also use Perrier water because it is a natural carbonated water without preservatives or chemicals.

Wah-lah thats it! a delicious homemade ginger ale so good for digestion and upset stomachs.

My body don't accept chemicals and preservatives very well so this is better for me and it taste
great and I really like homemade things that are easy.

Last night I made grilled steak, eggplant parmigiana and salad. I know most of you will say EGGPLANT??????????? I thought that too......but it turned out delicious! It was very Italian and I can't have pizza so I really miss having some of the Italian food. I was VERY surprised at the results. YUM! I will gladly share the recipe if any one request it. Or if you come to my house I will make it for you.

Until lata tata for now or as Ashton says Tootles
